Joan Luciano, Ph.D.
Dr. Luciano received her doctorate in organizational psychology from the University at Albany (SUNY), an MS degree in I/O Psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a BS in psychology from Arizona State University. With former experience working at the Boulder County Justice Center and psychiatric hospitals, Joan brings a unique perspective to forensic evaluation specialization.


Renate Wewerka, Ph.D.

Licensed Psychologist in New Mexico, received her Ph.D. from the University of Vienna, Austria in 1977, and is also a licensed psychologist in Maryland. Since coming to the United States, Dr. Wewerka has worked at Johns Hopkins University, various institutions in Maryland and New Mexico, including The Behavioral Health Institute at Las Vegas and the Social Security Administration. She has specialized in forensic psychology since the 1990's.

Maxann Shwartz, Ph.D., LLC, Founder

Licensed Clinical Psychologist in New Mexico and California. Specialties include adult and juvenile forensic psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, personal injury, expert witness testimony in criminal law, and psychotherapy using Mind-Body Bridging techniques. Dr. Shwartz received clinical training in medical psychology, neurological trauma, traumatic brain injury, chronic mental illness and childhood disorders (attention disorders, autism, and learning disabilities.) 


Kim Freeland, Ph.D., LMHC

Retired former Dean of Academic Affairs/Full Professor; Doctorate Degree in Adult/Health Education; Master's Degrees in Educational Administration/Psychology and Clinical Counseling. Dr. Freeland is a New Mexico Licensed Mental Health Counselor with specializations in Forensic Evaluations and Equine Therapy.
